From Homemade to Gourmet
Everyone has a unique relationship with food; some people are deprived of it, some of us struggle with having too much, some of us use it for work, but all of us need food to survive. When we take the time to truly think about our own relationship with food, we often think of the means by which food gets to us. We can eat out at restaurants, eat what someone else makes for us in a more personal setting, and open cardboard boxes and follow directions to make our own meals. Some of us, however, have obtained the skill of cooking, one that I have desired to learn for a while now. Sure, most of us can cook simple things, but I want to be able to do more than just follow instructions. I want to be able to use my knowledge of tastes and flavors and textures to make my own choices and create my own meals that I can be truly proud of. Thanks to the MCWT contest, I will now be able to do this with a purpose.

I really liked the website under 2014 examples that was mint green and had the circle designs. I liked pretty much everything about the website. The banner, style, and overall aesthetic appeal of the site. I thought the word that was changing in the banner was so creative and awesome! I would really like to know how to animate the website, just with the basics first since we can't really animate in the beginner's category.
